But never dry and full of presence,” says group member G.D.B. as a way to describe The Raign, comprised of two childhood friends hailing from the Southside of Atlanta, Georgia. Although the surroundings they were in may have been negative, the music they yearned to make was not. “Positive Hip Hop….” says group member Emerson Blue, “Since the DF stepped back it seems the whole city forgot what positive Hip Hop is…either that or they scared.
